Market Services Associate
Description
SecondMarket is seeking an individual to assist with (i) various aspects of privately-negotiated sales across various markets as well as investment banking transactions, (ii) general broker-dealer compliance requirements, and (iii) other operational matters such as legal documentation, clearing, etc.
Skills
- Recent college graduate
- Experience with legal documentation, and / or compliance, familiarity with investment banking or restricted securities a plus but not required
- One year relevant experience a plus but not required (e.g., operations, compliance or corporate paralegal)
- Team player with strong communication and client skills
- Individual who is interested in working in an entrepreneurial environment and helping grow the firm
- Knowledge and understanding of SEC disclosure requirements and trading issues related to restricted securities a plus
